Historic Cottage Addition in Chelsea

This project involves the renovation and expansion of a cottage property in Chelsea.

The existing building is a single-storey log cabin overlooking the lake, constructed of load-bearing heavy timber logs without a foundation. The project focused on evaluating the existing structure and servicing conditions to support a proposed addition and interior upgrades.

The scope included the addition of a new bedroom suite at the rear of the cabin, with new views to the lake, and an indoor/outdoor dining area connected to the kitchen.
